Persistent fatigue and post-meal crashes

When blood glucose becomes high enough, the kidneys may not be able to reabsorb all of the filtered glucose. Excess glucose then spills into the urine and pulls water with it, increasing urination and fluid loss.

Skin itching

Why Does It Happen?
When blood glucose rises above the kidneys’ ability to reabsorb all of the filtered glucose, some glucose begins to spill into the urine.
Glucose pulls additional water into the urine through a process called osmotic diuresis, causing the body to lose more fluid.

Is It Caused by Insulin Resistance?Not necessarily. Bloating or stomach discomfort alone should not be used as a sign that someone has insulin resistance.
Skin changes and multiple skin tags
High insulin levels stimulate rapid cellular growth. Look for small skin tags or velvety, darkened skin folds (acanthosis nigricans) around the back of the neck, armpits, or groin area as reliable visible indicators of metabolic strain.
